Our Mission
To promote technologies that use earth's abundant energies like Geothermal Heating and Cooling; to lower demand for fossil fuels and produce less green house gases.

A short description of a Geothermal heat pump system: The sun radiates heat daily all over the earth; this heat is stored beneath the ground at a constant temperature. (Northern US 45-55degrees)

A heat pump circulates a liquid under-ground or in a pond that exchanges BTU's with a refrigerant. A heat pump then increases the temperature of a refrigerant to 120-140 degrees during the heating season and reverses during the cooling season. The system transfers BTU's to or from the earth.

The only energy used is electrical to run a blower or pump depending on the system whether radiant or a forced air system.

Geothermal is partially a form of solar energy that works 24/7; not requiring oil, gas or propane to operate. You are no longer tied to the wild swings of the oil and gas industry and the system keeps paying for itself.

A Geothermal system can also be multi-functional including radiant in-floor heat, forced air heating and cooling, refrigeration and hot water heating. A great option for new construction or retro-fitting an existing residential or commercial building.
