Certified IGSHPA Trainer *27+ years geothermal design, sales, installation and service, his company has over 900 geothermal systems installed.
Past president of the Iowa Heat Pump Association. Donald has been in the design, trouble shooting and installation of heating systems for 40+ years and a contractor for 20+ years in the Dubuque Iowa area. He specialized in the design and installation of geothermal heat pump systems for residential, commercial and institutional properties. His experience, especially his hands on experience with all phases of the geothermal industry will help everyone attending this class.
This is a chance to learn from a true expert in geothermal. Donald has personally been involved in the marketing, designing and the installation of hundreds of multi-functional geothermal systems, from 2 ton to 85 ton.

Instructor: Dominique Durbin
Durbin Geothermal is a full service loop contractor, operating 7 vertical drilling rigs (air and mud rotary), directional drilling rigs, horizontal trenching and excavating equipment and all of the accessories required to be labeled full service. Durbin has expanded its coverage from Central Illinois to as far west as the Kansas line and east to Ohio, spanning 6 states. At last count Durbin Geothermal had installed more than 8,000 tons of vertical wells, 1,000 tons of horizontal loops and 300+ tons of pond loops, all drilled, trenched, installed and tied into buildings.
Dominique Durbin has more than 10 years of field experience and a variety of certifications in the geothermal loop industry.

Driller's Licenses: Missouri, Indiana and Iowa. ( At this time no geothermal license is required in Illinois, Ohio or Kentucky) Dominique is in the process of completing his CGD (Certified Geothermal Designer Certification), an elite course through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.
