Design Experience
Twelve years designing & preparing plans and specifications for commercial building projects. Responsibilities include designing, consulting and supervising designs of conventional and geothermal heating and air conditioning systems. Plumbing designs for office, garages and kitchen plumbing systems. Have performed energy hvac analysis for commercial buildings required for rebates of geothermal hvac system and domestic hot water heating systems.
I have a passion for designing systems that are green energy oriented especially geothermal Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. I enjoy designing and working with Contractors, Building Owners and Architects that also have a passion for green installations.
Training
As part owner of Earth Energy Services, we have provided training for many hundreds of students on Accreditation for the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.

Summit has designed many geothermal systems ranging from Residential Homes, Offices, Churches, Libraries, Apartments and Nature Centers. Conventional project designs include Water Parks, Condos, Restaurants, Kitchens, Office Buildings, Schools, Banks, Automotive Garages, Training Centers, Clinics, and Nursing Homes.
Scope of system designs include In-Floor Heating, Infrared Garage Heating, Split System Air Handling Units (AHU), Variable Air Volumes (VAV) systems w/ Reheat, Water Source Heat Pumps, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Through The Wall Heating & Cooling Units and Roof Top Units (RTU).
Installation course includes:

- Fusion welding training
- Open Book 2 Hour Exam
- IGSHPA membership
- Training is non manufacturer specific
- 20 hours of Continuing education credits available
- Lunch Daily & refreshments daily
